Book Launches at the Graham Foundation in Chicago (5:30 pm on November 21, 2024) and the Ateneo Español de México in Mexico City (12 pm on January 25, 2025).

In line with the trans-continental efforts of Candela, the book Félix Candela from Mexico City to Chicago (Actar, 2024) will be launched in two locations, the Graham Foundation in Chicago, on Thursday, November 21 at 5:30 pm and the Ateneo Español de México in Mexico City, on Saturday, January 25 at 12 pm. During the events, Eisenschmidt will present the publication and contributors will discuss their essays. The Chicago presentation will include Kathryn E. O’Rourke, Robert Bruegmann, Geoff Goldberg, and Jonathan Miller. In Mexico City, Elisa María Teresa Drago Quaglia, Juan Ignacio del Cueto, and special guest Antonia Candela will discuss their research, moderated by Pablo Landa.

The events are sponsored by the Graham Foundation and the Facultad de Arquitectura at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Logistical support was provided by the School of Architecture at UIC and MAS Context.
